Hello

I've managed to install blackra1n without any problems. However upon rebooting my iphone 3gs (3.1.2 firmware), It asks for me to reconnect with iTunes. Upon doing so iTunes has detected the iphone is running in recovery mode and I must restore.

I can use blackra1n to fix this, however is there a better fix? i.e. I want to be able to reboot without running back to my computer to make it ra1n again and I also want to load up iTunes without any restore popping up.

Any help?

You have a tethered jailbreak. Read the many threads about it that's already in this forum. And no, there is no fix for it.

A friend of mine was jailbreaking her ipod touch earlier, i was telling her the steps to take, and some how, along the way, hers did the same thing. She lost all of her music ect. so aggravating! So I guess she is just gonna bring it over tomorrow and let me jailbreak it. My iPhone 3g on 3.1.2 did not do that at all. So Idk what to do if it continues to do the same thing. I guess not jailbreak at all?
