Blackra1n tether question..

Hi,

I have a 3Gs jailbroken with Blackra1n on a mac. Its a tethered jailbreak and I have to run blackra1n every time I reboot the iphone yada yada yada..

My question is can I install a windows compatible version of Blackra1n and do the reboot through a pc if I should ever need to..

I mean the tether is annoying but it wouldnt be too bad if my iphone switched off and i could got to my friends computer - download blackra1n in 10 secs and reboot my iphone through it..

Does this work or am I stuck rebooting on my own mac only?

Yes you can, Blackra1n just needs to get past the initial boot.

downloaded blackra1n for windows and rebooted my iphone.. clicked make it rain and blackrain keeps shutting down: 'blackra1n has encountered a problem and needs to close'?

Then there is something else wrong. I JB my buddies 3GS on my mac and he uses his PC when needed.

you need itunes installed to make blackra1n run. I had this problem, took me ages to click.
