Blackra1n: Won't boot from dead battery

Last night my iphone ran out of power and I charged it this morning. When I power it up, the screen lights up, but stays blank.

I cannot recover via blackra1n.exe. It just hangs, stating "entering recovery".

What methods of recovery do I have?

Did that. Doesn't work, still had an illuminated dark blank screen.

At this point, now the screen will not illuminate and windows sees the device as a usb device, but does not know its an iphone anymore.

You might have to restore it.
If you got your SHSH files saved thru cydia restore using 3.1.2

How do I go about doing that if the "usb device is not recognized"?

In other words, iTunes doesn't see it.....

put it into dfu mode and restore.

DFU mode worked. I was able to get the Apple Logo, then went into device manger, scanned for new hardware and it recognized the phone with no issues.

Your probably the first person I saw that actually had his SHSH files in a problem like this. LOL
