iPad Pro Blank keyboard in spotlight

Ever since i got my smart keyboard folio for my iPad Pro 11 2020, i have this weird issue with spotlight keyboard. Whenever i go from using the smart folio keyboard to tablet mode, the virtual keyboard is blank when going into spotlight. The virtual keyboard works in all apps, but only in spotlight it is blank. A quick reboot of the iPad Pro resolves this issue for a certain period of time, but shortly returns.

Before i go and do a restore, just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue? Might as well save my time with restoring if this is a known issue.

Yes, i was hoping 13.5 fixed my issue, unfortunately same thing... planning to restore and will report back if the issue is resolved.
