Hi

I've got a powermac G4, and running OS X, and OS 9 on a partitioned hard drive. I've just tried changing from X to 9, and the screen has gone blank, I've tried resetting, switching off re-booting, and I just get back to the blank screen.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance

Make sure the monitor is plugged in and has power. Unplug and reconnect the cable to your video card.

Restart the computer while holding down the option key. This will bring up the boot manager, allowing you to select which operating system to use. Select OS 9 and click the right arrow.

Good luck.

Wonderful! I have a similar issue with my G4 on occasion and the video card connector usually works for me.

Glad you're up and running.
