When I start up my Macbook, I get the opening chime sound and it goes to the grey/white screen, but will stay on that for a bout ten seconds. After that a blinking grey box appears on the middle of the screen with a question mark in it. The grey box also has a smalled rectangle on top of it, and a little to the left. What does this mean?? They told me on the Apple help line they could help me troubleshoot it for $49 but that wasnt a guarantee it would work. If not I would hav eto send it in. At this point I have done nothing, except make an appointment with my local Mac store to have it looked at Thurs afternoon. Anybody know what this is and how to fix it on my own?
