So, I recently switched from a contract to pay as you go. This means every time I make a phone call or send a text a flash sms comes up straight away telling me my balance.

It's driving me mad. I get all sorts of free credit as well so the message that I'm seeing 105 times a day isn't even telling me my correct balance.

I'm really not that hopeful but does anyone know of any way to block these flash texts? They're driving me round the bend :(

I have a jailbroken phone so can pretty much try any suggestion. Thanks guys, and for anyone who's confused here's a flash text (although not the sort I get)

I don't think you can, others have contacted O2 and they have refused to stop sending them.

Thanks guys. I was looking for something at the phone end to get rid of it since I'm moving country next week so I'll be moving carrier again.

Also, I'm moving to Austria and can picture myself having some horrible garbled conversation to some CS fool with my rubbish German
