Just got this pop up. I actually have never gotten this pop up ever, and the app is a major transportation app in SE Asia.

Of course, there are news that even legitimate apps can be compromised in the Play Store due to infected compilers or libraries, unknown to the developers. So I promptly delete the app.

I wonder if any of you ever gotten this.

I turned Play Store (and Play Protect) off on day one. I always download APKs manually, use ones I archived on an NAS, or use alternative app stores that have better UI designs, such as F-droid or Aptoide. Not that there are many apps I use that aren't from 2015 or earlier these days, since most of my smartphone use is music playback, phone calls, SMS texts, viewing PDFs, and simple searches of the web.

I don't support anyone, Google or Apple, trying to protect me from myself.
