have ad block pro and ghostery but the ads keep coming on safari have switched to alternative browsers but they also have drawbacks want to continue using safari but not at the cost of being ad revenue for google

If you are referring to AdBlock Pro https://apps.apple.com/app/id1018301773, you can try to:
- disable and re-enable the extensions
Turn on extensions / Turn off extensions https://support.apple.com/en-us/102343

- check if Content Blockers is On for the website that is showing ads
Change Websites settings in Safari on Mac https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/ibrwe2159f50/17.0/mac/

- close Safari, start the app, close it and start Safari again. Rarely, Safari doesn't load the extensions.
