I'm beginning to think the product I would like to buy does not exist. I am looking for one machine to play either dvds or blu ray discs and has a vcr and can netflix though my wifi. I can find dvd/vcr and blu ray/netflix but not disc/vcr/netflix. Must work in the USA. Anyone ever heard of such a magical device or am I SOL.

Best to choose a Bluray with built-in WiFi & Netflix - connect via HDMI.

Then add any VCR you want - connected either via composite or component.

All the DVD/VCR combos I've found require composite for the VCR video.

I am curious as to why you would need such combo.

Buy a PS3, which will play Bluray, DVD, and Netflix, and a standalone VHS player, and viola.

Want the vcr for old kids tapes for a new to us but used tv we put in the basement. Figured they would sooner or later also want to watch dvds and already watch netflix upstairs so am trying to kill three birds with one stone. Don't really care about the bluray part but thought those players might be the only ones with wifi. But they dont have the vcr. Just figured one unit would take up less space but that's not gonna happen.

Not sure why he'd need a viola. Seems pretty random :)

Ba-Zing!

Hey I'm looking to add a Fisher Price Viewmaster to that setup. Does anyone know if Handbrake can convert my viewmaster disc?

Why don't you try and convert the VHS to an mp4 and stream them. VHS are pretty darn hard to find as a standalone. Most are DVD/VCR combos and are as expensive as the mid range bluray players. Most wifi blurays support Dlna for stream.
