Seems the leather loops have been a bit slow to make their way to customers, and the blue ones in particular, so I thought I would see if anyone else is in the same boat.

I ordered a blue leather loop to go with my Apple Watch Sport on pre-order day. Even from the start it was indicating a 2-4 week delivery window, which when the order started showing up on the order tracking section became an Apr28-May11 window. Haven't been too fussed about it as I got my watch on launch day and the sport band is comfortable enough for now, but just curious really as to whether any blue leather loops have been progressing beyond processing yet? Just checked again just now and my window has actually been moved back a couple of days and is now showing May1-May13.

Ordered the same strap on April the 17th and it shows "available to ship May". Apple hasn't done a good job with this launch, they should have prepared the straps before the launch of the watch and have them in-stores!

My order is essentially identical. I was going to order watch with blue leather loop but at the last moment I decided to order it with white sport and get the band separately. I also decided to put the two on separate orders. So, my watch arrived on the 24th yeah!!!!! and I've decided not to stress out on when the other band would show up. My band order was timestamped arround 3:08AM (east coast) and the delivery date was 4/29-5/12 and nothing has changed.

I ordered a blue leather loop just after my watch at 12:08 on the 10th and I just got charged for it so these should be moving soon.

Yup mine just moved to preparing for shipping as well. My order time was also at 8 after.

Sounds promising. My order time was 8.37 as I had to reorder when I noticed that in my haste I had initially ordered the wrong size. Hopefully be seeing some movement over the next few days!

I ordered the 42 mm blue loop, Large, on April 24 with a June availability estimate. Today, that changed to a May 26 - June 1 delivery estimate, still in Processing mode, of course.

I preordered the medium one on April 10 soon after I had preordered my watch. It finally shipped today and is supposed to be delivered on Friday.

i did a quick search but its hard to tell, how bright is the actual loop, it says bright in the description but looks fairly dark in the pics on the apple site.

How does this affect you in any way? Were you planning on selling it?
Should be happy that they are ramping up production.

I made a typo, I ordered mine April 10th and it affects me that I ordered three weeks prior, had an earlier delivery window, and am now having the same window as someone who ordered quite some time after me. This person getting their band doesn't affect me but it's frustrating noting that there is no increase in delivery times for ordering three weeks prior.

I would consider this a good sign that you will get yours earlier than that window. If the delivery windows were July or August currently, that would concern me more as an early order. Hope you get pleasantly surprised soon!

We'll see. I'll clarify a tad, I had an original window on May, versus the other persons June. Yesterday, it changed to the same window as the other person. That said, I don't think I will get it earlier.

My Blue Leather Loop (large) will be delivered tomorrow along with the other 2 bands I ordered!

Think about it this way. You ordered first and got number 1. The other person ordered weeks later and got number 1000. They built 5000, so current orders get delivered faster.
