Carrier Blue/Red Smudges On My IPad Screen

Hello, so I have these blue And red smudges/blotches on my IPad screen and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is. If it is damage to the screen or to the IPad itself and if it will be covered under mu warranty.

Going by the picture, I can't tell if that's damage to the glass or to the LCD panel underneath. Do you have AppleCare+, or is the iPad still under the standard 1 year warranty? If so, I would think Apple would take care of this for you.

Contact Apple support and send your iPad to them. You'll get a replacement iPad.
