Hello everyone - I'm kind of new to Macs so please be gentle

We just bought an iMac for my husband to use just before Christmas and it's fab. However, the other two Windows 7 PCs on our home network will randomly blue screen when the iMac is switched on or being used generally. They didn't do this before, and they don't do it if the iMac is switched off.
I've tried disabling our ZoneAlarms firewall but that doesn't seem to do anything. I wondered if anyone else has had this issue before and could shed some light? It would be so helpful - I'm sick of having to re-boot two or three times in an hour when I'm in the middle of some work!
