Hey, I have a MBP 15" 2.4 SR and I installed Windows XP 32bit to play games, I have the latest drivers for everything, for the 8600M GT I got the latest from laptopvideo2go and I was playing HL2 EP2 and I got a blue screen which followed immediately a reboot... This happened to me sometime ago on the same game too... while on CoD4 I played for like 2 hours straight and nothing happened, on HL2 I was about 1:30h ... Is this a hardware fault?! Cause i'm starting to worry... Thanks in advance.

Unless you are experiencing kernal panics just as often in OS X than I doubt it's hardware failure.

Keep in mind while that blue screen is showing, you are technically still booted into Windows.

It's a Windows failure, you need not worry; hence the beauty of dual boots.

It did used to kernel panic "very rarely" on Leopard but it was before 10.5.2 after that it cured it, it was some error due to airport. But I just downloaded RivaTuner and here without doing nothing I'm seeing that my GPU core temperature is at 63ºC ... this is a bit high isn't it? Or is it normal in Windows? I think in Leopard it's much lower

I think there are certain triggers that set it off for our computers. I was playing BF2142 and when it's loading a map, if I hit any key it will give me the blue screen. It also does it when I put in a CD and then try to open the internet, I think it get frustrated and closes down...
