Does anybody know if there is a way to convert Blueray's over for use on a AppleTV on a mac? I have a pioneer blueray already in my MacPro that I mainly use for large backups. Just curious if there is software out there that would let me convert a Blueray at the 1080 resolution and the 5.1 surround.

Yes although it takes several software tools to do so. I usually yake the File down to .mkv using Makemkv, if the file has a DD soundtrack then I just convert it with Handbrake and the Apple TV Preset at 65%.

If it has a DTS soundtrack, then I convert to MKV, Use CloneBD to Convert the DTS Track to AC3, then I have to use YAMB to stich the AC3 back into the m4v File (Which I converted with no Audio track).

All this depends on Having Slysoft's ANYDVDHD thou.
