Hi

So I just got my IPP 11" and since it has Bluetooth 5.0 I was wondering if it supports dual audio.
In other words if I connect two pairs of wireless headphones (Bluetooth 5.0 as well) can I stream audio to both of them at once?

That would be cool for scenarios like 2 people watching a film on a plane with one iPad inbetween them.

I am guessing Apple won't allow it though

This is exactly the scenario I am looking for.
Not sure why Apple would not allow it... it’s a Bluetooth 5.0 feature.
Would be good to know if someone already thested it but given the fact that not many Bluetooth 5.0 headsets are out we will have to wait

I’ve been looking around for a solution to this same scenario.
I love my new Pro, but I used to watch movies on a plane with my partner and we would just connect our headphones with a splitter. We both have Bluetooth headphones, so being able to do this would be great.
Alternatively, I’ve been looking for a USB C to 2x 3.5 mm mini jack. But that doesn’t seem to exist, and I don’t really want 2 dongles to achieve that.
Any suggestions?
Thx

Someone who has 2 Bluetooth 5.0 Headphones could give it a try :).
It would be a shame if this didn't work as it's one of the reasons Bluetooth 5.0 exists.. but than again we are talking about Apple. Even NFC they did not fully implement it.
Or we could send out an e-mail to Apple Support and ask.

Looks like the Airpod 2 are Bluetooth 5.0. Normally you should be able to connect two pairs to the Ipad Pro, right?

For my 12.9" iPP (when flying with my wife) I bought a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (like this one on the apple store) and then any normal Y adapter will let you split the audio to a pair of headphones.

I know it does't answer the bluetooth 5 issue, but it's a not unreasonable way to solve the issue for the time being.

bringing this back from the dead...

headed on a long flight...with the wife. would like to pair our airpods to one ipad, can this be done now?
