Just upgraded my old iPad 3 to a new iPad Pro 10.5. I have a CableJive Bluetooth audio receiver hooked up to my stereo and use it to stream audio from the iPad via Bluetooth. With the old iPad 3 (iOS 9.3.5), once it was connected to the Bluetooth receiver it would stay connected all of the time. With the new iPad Pro 10.5 (iOS 11.1.2), the Bluetooth only stays connected when audio is actually playing. Whenever the audio is paused, the connection the Bluetooth receiver keeps dropping, then reconnecting a few seconds or minutes later, then dropping, over and over again.
Not sure if the issue is an incompatibility with the older Bluetooth receiver, some power saving feature in the new iPad/iOS, or an issue with the iPad itself. Any thoughts?
