Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue as I haven’t found any mention of it..

On iPhone OS 14 PB 2 both my Airpods Pro and Powerbeats Pro won’t connect for audio output, i.e. they connect, show as connected in settings and you can configure their settings but music, videos and phone calls won’t output through them, if you select it in the output device list it spins for a while and then switches back to iPhone.

I removed and re-added them, rebooted and did network reset (which worked, for about 10 minutes but hasn’t worked again since).

On iPad OS PB 2 everything works as expected

I don’t have any bluetooth headphones without the W1 chip available to try right now.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have of course reported it

I have this issue on the latest developer beta, with my Bose QuietComfort 35. Went through the same steps as you did without any improvement. My 1st gen AirPods works fine.

Having a similar issue myself. iOS 14 Public Beta 2 (18A5332f) on my iPhone 11. Haven't actually tried with my Airpods (1st gen) or Beats Studio wireless headphones, but noticed today that it wouldn't correctly send audio to my Bluetooth stereo in my car. As you experienced, my phone would show as "connected" but wouldn't send the audio signal out to the car stereo. Did not experience this with earlier Public Beta.

yeah worked fine on dev beta 1 for me and then public beta 1 ah well, no music when grocery shopping for a while I guess. Thank god there is no commute at the moment ;) ah the joys of using beta software

They sent me a special profile to enable more logging for Bluetooth stuff so hopefully the new logs I have provided help find the issue

Had this issue for several days with both AirPods (2nd Gen) and AirPods Pro.

Resetting all settings fixed it for me. Try that.
