I jailbroke a few months ago and have had no problems at all...until now.

I tried to pair via Bluetooth my Garmin nuvi and my iPhone. When attempting to pair, the iPhone code input screen never popped up. However, it recognized the connection attempt, as when the Garmin gave up, the iPhone showed the following, "(null) timed out waiting for PIN." I tried several times. Half the time it timed out. The other half, the springboard crashed.

Bluetooth still works fine for the devices already paired. I can tether via Bluetooth. My Bluetooth headset works just fine as well.

Any ideas? I'm not averse to SSHing into it and configuring it manually.

Thanks!

I have been able to pair both my 3GS and my wife's 3GS to our Nuvi 765T.

Both on 3.1.2 firmware.

Not sure what's going on for you. Good luck !

Is your Nuvi firmware up to date ??

Also forgot to mention, both our 3GS are JB

It's up to date, thanks. I appreciate your help on this. It's had me baffled.

The problem was in the phone itself. It wouldn't bring up the screen to input the four-number code from the Nuvi. I decided to try hitting ProSwitcher right after initiating the pairing to see if I could find the code input screen running in the background. It was there. I input the code and successfully paired it.
