Started noticing a bluetooth issue on my 8 plus recently. I noticed when it was no longer auto-connecting to my car. I usually just start my car and it will connect automatically. Lately I've been having to go into the bluetooth settings on the phone and connect manually.

Then yesterday I was listening to radio over my bluetooth headphones and it started getting really choppy and eventually just disconnected entirely. I just reconnected manually and it was fine again.

I've done a restart and guess I can do a restore eventually but that's quite a pain in the rear. Any other suggestions/ideas or has anyone else had issues?

You likely need to get it replaced. My 8+ has worked without flaw in my vehicle, on headphone and the Sonos stereo. Not even a blip of a problem.

How you get it worked out.

I worry that you are right but how would I prove an issue in store? The only real issue that I can consistently reproduce is the connection to my car. The headphone issue is intermittent.

If you are lucky they might replace it at the Apple store. Might want to take a video of it happening inside the vehicle. Not a lot of this being reported so it must be a hardware issue. hope you get it resolved.
