bluetooth connection

does the iphone bluetooth 3gs only connect to audio devices?

I am trying to connect to another samsung phone or to my macbook but no luck, any body please have a solution.

With the macbook it comes service not available

I have been able to connect to my mbp and stereo but have not tried it with another phone yet.

I get the same error message about services. The MBP does locate my iphone via BT. Now I just wish my car did the same thing.....

The BT profile on the iPhone is audio only. No file transfer and nothing else, at least currently.

Then how can peer's play games over BT? That's not just audio.
