MP 1,1-5,1 Bluetooth dongle for MP 3,1

I have a 3,1, with GTX 680 4gb, patched to run Mojave. So far, everything runs fine, except my Bluetooth. Computer sees it, and I can turn it on/off, but I can't seem to see any nearby bluetooth devices, such as my iPhone. My iPhone doesn't see the MacPro. Not sure if upgrading to Mojave via a patch, did anything.

Anyways, the built-in bluetooth is old. I was wondering if a dongle would work on this computer, particularly this one:

I think yours is a WIFI adapter. My Mac Pro 3,1 has a wifi card. The built-in bluetooth is what I want to update via a dongle.
