iPad Bluetooth earphones or headphones

Apologies if this is a stupid question...

I am forever having problems with headphones and earphones. The wire always breaks inside and I end up losing sound out of one side.

Will Bluetooth earphones or headphones work with iPad 2 ? Also, are there any specific brands that would not wouldn't?

I've used multiple pairs of bluetooth headphones with my iPad Air 2. I don't think I've ever heard of a set of bluetooth headphones not working with an Apple device.

I use my airpods with my iPad Pro 11" and the sound is great. I know that apple supported bluetooth headphones work best (like beats, airpods) because of audio latency but I'm pretty sure any bluetooth will work fine. Bluetooth is my favorite as I dont have to constantly take out my headphones when I need to a next room or whatever.
