Can anyone recommend a bluetooth transmitter/receiver that is compatible with AirPods?

I use my AirPods to connect to my MacBook and I stream a lot, and I hate having to carry the laptop everywhere in the house I go.

I like to have some long range connection where I can leave my MacBook in my bedroom and be in the kitchen without the constant dropped connection.

Thanks!

Couple things you could do.

Use an AppleTV that is more central to the area you move around in.Correct the AirPods to that and then AirPlay to the AppleTV from the Mac.

Get a long range bluetooth transmitter, plug it in via the 3.5mm port on the Mac. This will likely be a transmitter only so you will lose control via the AirPods. iCloud device sharing won't be there either so you'll need to set up BT in a more traditional manner.

You could also use the long range transmitter on an AirPort Express and dedicate it to that function.
