OK so I am buying a second hand car and it comes with a £150, very good bluetooth handsfree already installed. The seller has told me that it work with an iPhone as his friend uses the same one, but my question was, when I connect it via bluetooth like you would do to dial and recieve calls, would I be able to play my music and have the sound come out of my car speakers just by selecting the track on my iPhone?

I don't want to buy a new CD player or an iTrip.

what make and model is the bluetooth handsfree?

its very unlikely that it will support A2DP (bluetooth music)

Why is it unlikely? For £150 I would expect A2DP, wouldn't spend anywhere near that without it. But it is a case of checking if it supports A2DP, if it does, it will play music through your car stereo.
