I developed a major issue with my magic mouse and mighty mouse on my mac pro. Both of these bluetooth mice jump, skip, stutter and slow down now. I tried everything under the sun to fix, even reformatted back to the day my OS was when I got my mac. The mice were still screwed up even after that.

Anyway, I bought a Logitech Performance MX mouse that hooks up via USB (wireless). And the issue is gone!

So my question is this, what type of hardware is in my mac pro that handles bluetooth functionality? I have a feeling the hardware is bad and I want to get it fixed. Is there hardware that handles bluetooth functionality?

EDIT: This is hard for me to believe but my magic mouse is working properly now. All I did was turn bluetooth off and back on and its working beautifully. Neither me or the apple tech thought to do that. At least its working now! Issue resolved.
