i have a new imac, bluetooth is turned on and can be found by my mobile, but the connection always fails. i've tried 5 seperate phones and none can send.

any tips to troubleshoot?

thanks!

Hi,
I had a similar experience with my wife's and my cell phones, Sony Ericsson K750i and K810i. Whereas my old K610 had no troubles at all (sending SMS via adress book and all), those new phones didn't fully work right away with iSync under Tiger or Leopard.
However, in our case there is solution: plugins.
But don't spend money on them. Rather find a site which offers them for free or do it yourself - it's fairly easy. I tried both ways and had no problems.
Here is a helpful link to do that. http://ni.chol.as/2007/06/09/isync-and-the-sony-ericsson-k810i/
The guy probably has a plugin for your phone as well. If not do it yourself following his manual.

good luck

thanks for the advice, the first phone i used was a samsung, but i've tried motorola and nokia as well - nothing works.

will the plugins cover nokia/ motorolas as well?
