iPhone Bluetooth icon looks like it’s connected even though it’s not

Just like the title says. In iOS 10 the BT icon would be grated out or whatever when not connected to anything. Now in iOS 11 it looks like it’s connected constantly even though it not connected. Anyone else have this prob?

Yep. Mine has been on permanently since IOS11 even with nothing using it.

So is the by design or a bug? Cuz it seems like my battery life has suffered some since the update.
