I didnt get a blue tooth installed in my mac pro because i ordered it in a hurry. What do I have to do to get one installed? I can't find it anywhere to purchase and install. What can I do?

Thanks for the link...I had seen that on the website...but I was wondering about the actual chip they put inside the computer. Can I purchase the chip and install it?

An authorised Apple Service Centre will be able to order and install the bluetooth kit in your Mac Pro. It's a very easy installation, but it seems to be the case that only a service centre can order the kit and will usually insist they install it for you.

The alternative is the USB dongle. Apple officially support the D-Link USB dongle, it works very well.

Funny, I just walked into a local Apple Store and asked for the upgrade kit and they sold it to me for $25 I think, cheaper than if purchased in the computer by $4. It comes in a plain white box and does look like it was only intended to be used by the service shop but it is pretty easy to install. I may have lucked out and they were clueless but no one gave me a hard time.

Same here! I actually called ahead and asked for the upgrade kit the wireless keyboard and wireless mighty mouse and they were on the counter waiting for me. I purchased the items and was out the door in less than 2 minutes :) Best apple store experience I have had so far.
