I recently purchased the Beats Studio Pro headphones, and have noticed a hissing "white noise" type of sound with the ANC on or Transparency Mode enabled, even when I'm not actively watching something or listening to music, regardless of the app. Was thinking there was just a problem, and maybe there still is. I've got an appointment on Sunday at a local Apple Store.

BUT! What struck me in the iMessage Chat with Apple Support is where they flat out say that wearing an Apple Watch or even having your iPhone near by (like on a table next to me) could cause Interference! Has anyone else heard this from Apple before? I mean, I keep my Apple Wireless Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad pretty close together, too.. Is that what's causing the disconnects? Maybe...

FWIW, the Reset didn't fix this. Before I could even pair them there was the same white noise hissing sound. I guess it's hard to say whether that's is still because I'm near my computer with my Apple Watch on and my iPhone on the table in front of me, though.

You know, when you turn on ANC or Transparency Mode, there is going to be some hissing noise. That's normal, not just for your headphones but for any headphones that is active even ones without ANC. If you place your ears next to active speakers (meaning powered on but not playing any music) you'll hear hissing sounds.

No, this is different. It sounds like a loud SHHHHHHH sound, and only thru the left side, and is there with no change regardless of whether ANC is on or Transparency Mode is on, or even if it's all off completely. I know there can be a couple second delay where the mode changes, but this is just constant.

The fact that Apple Support flat out suggested that the Phone it could be connected to or even the Watch I'm wearing could be causing the issue is, to me anyway, what I don't understand. Why even make a product like this if it's going to have interference with the device it's supposed to be connecting to in the first place?

Is the hissing noise still there when you wear the headphones and walk away from your computer and remove your Apple Watch? All those devices are BT devices and shouldn't introduce interference hissing noises. Random disconnects yes, but not hissing noise, especially only in one ear. My guess is there is a hardware issue with your headphones.

FWIW, I have no hissing sounds in my AirPods Pro with my BT Magic Keyboard, BT Mouse, Apple Watch and iPhone right next to me.

Ok, it wasn't clear in earlier posts that this noise is only coming from one side and not both. If you're close to an Apple Store, go there and have them make an immediate determination if your Beats have a hardware issue. If not, could you do a mail-in for an exchange?

I setup an appointment at an Apple Store on Sunday. Considering resetting the headphones and I'm still hearing the same noise right as they're powered on..

Seeing so many other posts about BlueTooth issues with Keyboards, Mice, and Trackpads randomly losing connection briefly, and then seeing the note from Apple Support saying I should keep it at a distance from my Apple Watch and iPhone? That seems ridiculous.. I mean, how am I supposed to use them?!? 🤣🙃🥴

Got them back from the Apple Store yesterday evening, aaaaaaaaand there's no change. They didn't find a problem, although they reset the firmware. Again. Soooo, now Apple Support on iMessage wants me to send them in AGAIN, but this would be with "Senior Support"... I don't have time for all of this. I just wanted new working headphones.
