Hey all, I've had a Bluetooth issue pop up recently. I have an iPhone X 256GB and it's been paired successfully with my 2015 Subaru Forester since I received the phone.
Recently I went on vacation and while away, bought LG Tone Pro (HBS780) Bluetooth headset (the ear buds drove me nuts on the plane ride). Paired and used successfully.
When I got home and drove my car again, I wasn't getting any sound though it appeared that it was connected and playing music. As you can see from the pics, the audio display shows something playing, and the phone also shows something playing and that it is playing on Car Media. If I switch to radio there is sound, so it's not an all-over audio issue with the car unit.
I've tried all sorts of things, rebooting the phone; unpairing, rebooting, repairing; unpairing, turning off BT, rebooting, turning BT back on, repairing. I've paired using the menu items on the car and the hands free menu on the car. Same issue where it looks like it's playing, but there's no audio.
I can still connect to the headphones without any problem, but can't hear any audio in the car. Any suggestions? Does this seem like an iPhone issue, or a car BT issue? I'm guessing they'll each blame the other, but don't know which place to take it if I can't get this figured out...
