Everything but the bluetooth is working.
I have an aluminum apple KB from my old 2008 imac that was stolen.
If I boot without any kb the bluetooth assistant comes up and the pairing process completes, but the KB will not work.
If I go into the bluetooth assistant after booting my KB shows up, but as not connected. I tried to delete the KB and re-pair, but pairing never completes.
In XP I was able to pair the kb once by specifying the passkey as "0000", but it would not hold up upon restarting.
Thankfully the wired KB works. Bluetoooth has been the only issue.

hopefully apple is using some new BT module that a update will fix

Unfortunately, I have no good news for you. This Bluetooth issue has shown itself in many slightly different variants all over this forum. I'm sure someone will come along who knows how to make reference to other threads in this one but I don't. Try the things they recommend in these other threads because apparently they sometimes work. None worked for me however.
Good luck :)
