Recently my iPhone X is having issues with the bluetooth speaker on my car. It used to be that when I sit in the car, the music will start playing automatically. I can pick whichever song I wanted to play from the steering wheel, browse playlist, or anything. Full control.

Recently though the music no longer plays automatically, not even if I select a certain song. I have to manually play the song from my phone, which will then stream from the speakers from my car. When I open music from my iPhone, it will say music not playing.

Also that sometimes bluetooth connection will just drop all of a sudden and I have to reconnect. I tried to reset network setting on my iPhone and repair with my car, no luck. Sometimes the songs will show up as "~song1" "~song2" and so on on my car too.

FWIW, I am running 11.3 beta and I drive a BMW 4 series without CarPlay.

It was fine when I had my iPhone 7 running betas as well as when I first got this iPhone X. I don't remember or recall if this issue happened AFTER 11.3 update, but that MIGHT be the cause.

Anyone else with similar issues?

So I restored to 11.2.6 the most recent iOS public version, and everything now worked like a charm again. (it even restored all my files and everything, thought downgrade wouldn't support file restore). However this morning it asked me to update to the Public Beta 3 again, and of course I didn't want to do that so I deleted the profile file, and restarted the phone and boom, stuck at Apple logo. Doing a fresh restore now and probably won't mess with beta gain, not until iOS 12 probably,...

With 11.3 PB3, I have found that Automatic does not work correctly in my vehicle. Reported to Apple and looking forward to a fix.
