iPad Pro bluetooth issues?

I'm trying to pair my iphone to ipad and vice versa to my phone with my ipad by bluetooth, but the pairing isn't working. Both is on wi-fi, close by and ready to pair but not connecting. what gives??

what can i do next? i also tried turning off bluetooth and turn it back on. Not working.

Didn’t explain myself well. But i wanted to see my iPhone battery in my iPad, and iPad battery in my iPhone. For that to work, I need to pair it to other devices.

As far as I know, you can’t pair your iPad and iPhone together. It will only pair for hotspot with your iPhone.
