I was wondering what everyone thought about bluetooth multiplayer being added to a game. Does it add value or is it a waste of time. Would you like a single player game more if you could now connect to a friends iphone / ipod and be able to play a multiplayer version of a game. Would this be a welcome addition in an update? opinions? Thanks.

To me, no. Simply because I don't know anyone else with an iDevice with the bluetooth connection capabilities, besides my dad. Who wouldn't sit down and play a game on his phone.

To the mass market sure. Get two kids in the back seat with iPod Touches and have them goto town. Or in school play a quick game, sounds like a plan to me.

Makes sense to me. Shocked to hear you don't know anyone else with an iDevice i figured everyone and their mother had something with i preceding it. Although the first iPhones don't have bluetooth capabilities. I hope the rest of the market likes the multiplayer idea any opinions on whether or not it would increase sales? You think someone who sees multiplayer as an option would convince a friend to buy the app to play? Also does your dad play any games? Math games maybe?

Does the Apple SDK allow peer to peer wifi? I think this would be better as I tend to leave my BT off to save battery. Having p2p wifi would be awesome sinec it's always on. Probably easier to code too.
