Hello folks,

I have a 2015 Honda Accord and every time my Bluetooth setting is on regardless if the iPhone 7 is connected via the charging cable or simply wireless, it starts playing my songs via Bluetooth, is there any setting on my iPhone to prevent this? It's very annoying. Thanks in advance.

my fiancee aftermarket head unit does this too.

her work around is auxiliary to usb adapter to charge in car.
does not help the bluetooth bit though.

Sounds more like a head unit issue rather than an iPhone issue. Your head unit is connecting then sending a signal to start playing. Have you checked to see if there was a setting to turn it off?

It's a horrible "feature" of a lot of bluetooth or "iPod enabled" units. I've experienced it in rental cars...plays the first song, alphabetically, in your Music. I may just add a long, silent track titled "Aaaaaaaaa" to prevent this (or at least delay it).
