Did I read correctly that the BT in the :apple:iPhone only works with a "headset" (and not a car)?

Does that mean I cannot use the :apple:iPhone with the built-in-vehicle BT?

I have a 2006 Land Rover LR3 that previously connected with my Palm Treo650 and is currently working with my wife's Motorola Razr.

Here is the Land Rover BT compatibility listing from landroverusa.com.
Unfortunately, :apple: is NOT on this list. :(

The list has a revise date of 06/22/2007, thats 7 days before the iPhone was released and potentially tested. I know it works in my RDX even though it still isnt as a compatible phone.
