I'm attending WinHEC in Seattle this week for work, and they're showing off some of the Bluetooth integration that will be in Longhorn, when it finally ships.
Apple has done an A1 job on Bluetooth, in my estimation... but I'm impressed by the ability to use the PC to handle Bluetooth-enabled cell phone calls they're showing in Longhorn. I'd love to be able to use the mic on my Powerbook, or on my iSight, and my system speakers, to handle cell phone calls from my T616 or whatever I'm using by the time this feature is implemented.
At the very least, it would solve my problem of not being able to use Salling Clicker or Address Book integration through Bluetooth, and my Bluetooth headset, at the same time... because my Mac could handle the phone call, and then pass the signal off to my Bluetooth headset. Something tells me the Bluetooth signal from my Mac is WAY stronger than the one from my phone, and capable of supporting multiple devices at the same time.
I'm sincerely hoping that we'll see this kind of feature in Tiger, now that headsets are properly supported in OS X, but is there any software out there that I haven't seen that handles this today?
