Bluetooth play/pause functionality

I just recently experienced an issue since jailbreaking my phone, where I can no longer press the pause/play button on my headsets to activate the music I am listening to. I have to manually press the pause/play button on my phone now. Any ideas on what happened and how can I fix it?

No clue. AVRCP still works fine on my jailbroken 3GS. might have to restore.
