I have the original Ipad Pro 12.9 and have been running the iPadOS 14 public beta since its release. I’m now on 14.2. Since installing the beta I’ve been getting random Bluetooth dropoffs. It just turns off and the spinner goes round and round in settings. Then it will miraculously turn back on hours later. Happens several times daily. It’s driving me insane, can’t use the pencil or any Bluetooth devices reliably. Am I the only one seeing this issue? I’m ready to bail on the beta because of this. I don’t even know if going back to the official 14.1 will fix this. Ugh...

No, it is not just you. This issue found its way into the released version. I just updated 2 devices and both of them are now having the exact same issue. "Devices" just spins endlessly and no Bluetooth devices are enumerated. Tried several times to "Reset Network Settings" and still didn't fix. I am restoring one of them from an earlier backup and hoping to get it going again until they fix this mess.

And of course the AppleCare rep started reading the script concerning supporting only Apple-approved BT devices so I ended the call.

I’m only using the Apple Pencil and Apple Magic keyboard. You'd think those would work without issue 🤔

Good Lord, I just did a clean install of IPadOS, setup as new iPad, not restoring at all. No beta, the official 14.2 release. The problem is even worse now. I couldn’t even get Bluetooth to turn on for the first half of the day, now it works for a few minutes then drops out completely. Totally unusable. Could I possibly have a hardware problem? If it’s this widespread a problem I would think more people would be complaining. I’m ready to take the damn thing into the Apple store for diagnostics. Unbelievable
