PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this it has been broken since ios 9 ..I use my BT headset 99% of the time as I run a business ...What has happened is it works fine while on a call ...when a second call comes in and you answer it it sends it back to your handset (the phone) then you have to put the phone up to your face for the call waiting call ..then hit connect to go back to the first call ..DUMB DUMB!!! I have called apple for months filled out a ticket etc.....gone to the mac store gone to VZW THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED and still no fix in ios 9.3 even the folks at VZW who all use headsets know of this issue ...Sorry for the caps but this needs to be fixed ..esp when driving and not allowed to use a non hands free device ..i have to to answer the 2nd call HELP!!! Yes i have updated the software and it si not just my headset as I have tried 5 diff ones

Desperate !! At first thought it might be VZW problem or my phone ..this happened a few years back but I think it was IOS 7 something that it finally got fixed
For whatever it's worth, when I'm connected to my cars BT, I don't have this issue when a call comes in and I'm already on a call.

Like I said I have tried everything ! I love BT headsets tried them all and all i use for years since I live on my phone ..BTW best one is the Voyager legend ..even called them and updated software on that ..this is a apple problem
Have you tried restoring your phone? I do not have this issue at all. If I am on a BT call and answer a second one via the headset, it connects with no issue. I do not need to touch my phone.

No. You wipe the phone and start fresh. Now you should create a backup just in case the wipe doesn't work. Then you can just put your backup on so you don't lose anything. But as I said no issue here on my 6s running 9.3.

Emails will resync when you re-add the account. Texts will be lost. I'm shocked Apple has not once told you to restore your phone. That is the number one thing they mention for troubleshooting.
I'm using Vtin bluetooth headphones. Its not solely a bluetooth 'headset', because it is a pair of headphones, but you can accept and dial out via the microphone like a bluetooth headset. I can't see there being a difference, bluetooth is bluetooth, regardless if its a car, headphone or headset. Regardless, on my device I can answer a call, while on a call and it goes through automatically.

It very well could be an Apple issue that requires a restore. All iOS installs are not the same. Things get corrupt. It is possible that the people at VZW are having the same problem, and a restore will fix it. I've had some really weird things happen with my iOS devices that a restore fixed.Yea thats what I thought I cant wipe it I can not loose my texts
Hi nope like I said If you read the thread tried them all ... Plantronics ..Sony blue ant ... etc.. this only happened when they went to ios 9.1 but thanks for the reply I would not call 100.00 dollar headsets crappy even tried the cheap ones.. Like I said I am not the only one having the issue does not even work with the lg ones wiht retractable earbuds

As mentioned above, the OP is unwilling to do that because of text messages being lost.
Hi thanks for the reply ..No i guess i will try that next maybe they will have something !! All the calls I made to apple they were supposedly turning into the engineers ...maybe when ios 10 comes out LOL
