Bluetooth Streaming in Car

Both my wife and I noticed in each of our cars when we get in, we have to open Music and press play. Previously, as long as the Music app was still open in the background, once it connected to the cars bluetooth, it would play where the last song left off.

Has anyone noticed this?

Mine was never consistent the way you said yours worked. Need to see how it does now. But, the last 6 months been mostly using SiriusXM.

Have noticed that I need to speak to Siri different in 11. Before I could just say hey Siri and wait for the "chirp" and then speak my command. Now I have to speak it as soon as the screen opens with Siri on my iPhone. Otherwise it doesn't work. Hope there are no more issues with BT in my car. Rely on it a lot.

Haven't noticed this with Sync yet. What I have noticed is Apple Music will be playing and it'll show "Unknown" on my Sync screen and the music app on my iPhone 7 is completely blank on the lock screen. It's like "guys, are you home?". Music is still playing of course.

Let's just say that I expect a random song to being playing, not the previous song. I see no logic behind where the Music app will continue from. Sometimes it's from the last song. Sometimes it's from some random song I haven't played in forever.
