I never liked it. I gave it so many chances. Likewise, I tried wireless headphones, speakers, mice etc, and they all end up skipping, stuttering and drop out to stop working. Why because they use 2.4 GHz which is useless in my area with so many networks that even a wireless printer will go offline. First my MacBook Bluetooth will stutter so much like now trying to watch a YouTube video and listening to music I got so disquested that I ended up wiriing my Bluetooth speaker. Now even on the iPad its doing it too.

They should have put Bluetooth on 5 GHz which I don't have problems with wireless devices on 5 GHz. I don't see the update to Big Sur fixing when you live in a crowed area and the morons who developed Bluetooth did not put it on a lesser crowed frequency. I guess they though that you will living in the middle of nowhere the only place Bluetooth works.

So do I understand that Bluetooth and 2.4 ghz wifi are in conflict because they're on the same frequency? If so, why are there not more complaints about one or the other not playing well with each other? There just has to be something else going on in the OPs location.

I have a lot of problems with ALL Logitech bluetooth mice.
They lag/stutter sometimes when contacted via Bluetooth.

They work very well with the dongle.

Sometimes even the keyboard letter get stuck and come a little bit later.

Anyone has a clue what to do?

Tried every reset-option on the bluetooth module.

Reset all my BT settings -> no change.
Selecting another WLAN Channel doesn't help either.

THe keyboard and mouse perfectly works with my windows laptop from work...

I turned off 2.4gh on my router, that seemed to solve any interference issue.

The mouse is basically working but has some lag every few seconds...

It may not be your wifi router but any number of other devices - e.g., microwaves are well known. I have lots of problems with BT in one part of my house and at some point I figured out, that it is heating/cooling system which causes this. In my case it has DC motor, which is spinning always (just changes speed). It seems to be generating some EM (electro magnetic) noise interfering with BT, cable modem, & wifi operations. I tried to add capacitors, shielding, and grounding - and whatever else was suggested. While it helped, BT issues did not go away.
BT actually has quite interesting method of preventing em noise by switching frequencies all the time, look it up on line. They worked hard (and long time ago) on minimizing interference.
The trouble is, that these EM sources are difficult to find and even when found, some may not be even possible to remove or fix.
