So after months of owning the iPhone XS Max and having pairing issues with the Kia Soul, the problem appears to be gone with 12.2. beta 2. The phone is pairing with the 2011 Kia Soul. The X never had an issue. The XSm would pair once or twice then subsequent pairings would fail requiring deletion and a fresh pairing. I’ve been on beta 2 since it came out and no pairing failures. Cautiously optimistic.
