My mac mini (2.26 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo), system specs shown belowˇˇ has a bluetooth that doesn't seem to function correctly. I just bought a new Magic Trackpad, this being the first bluetooth device to be used with this computer. It worked fine for about 2 days, and then the bluetooth on the computer stopped working. I googled the problem, and came up with a possible solution-the computer's temperature might be too high. (I live in southern Arizona, ambient air temp is high anyway) So I got SMCfancontrol, upped the computer's fan speed from 1500rpm to 3600rpm, placed it on a bread cooling rack (wireframe thingy...it works, lol) and reduced the comp's temperature from 66°C to 40°C. The bluetooth, however, did not come online.

I ran OnyX, Disk Utility from the startup disk, installed apple's bluetooth update, re-installed Snow Leopard... and my Bluetooth is still inactive.

(As a side note, I got quite a few errors when running Disk utility...)
