Why doesn't Apple make bluetooth on iphone do more than just mic? Why can't you sync simple stuff with it or something?

No clue. I would like to be able to access Edge on my MacBook Pro like I can with my razr. It's probably AT&T. They don't everyone using the unlimted data package with their computers. :(

Problem is, their "regular" unlimited data plan is not any more expensive than the one bundled with the iPhone.
Someone here has even said that he could take the SIM out of his iPhone, put it in some other phone and browse the web on his laptop.
This particular limitation IS a deal-breaker for me.
I don't care about SDK, or a lot of other things people here complain about... But crippled Bluetooth and no "wireless modem" mode is just silly. An $19 phone can do it - and an iPhone costs how much?
