What would I need to watch blurays on my 5k imac?

I have a largish bluray collection that I would like to occasionally view on my imac. I have windows 10 installed on bootcamp. Are the bootcamp drivers comptible with this bag of hurt?

my mac is a 3.5 Ghz i5 with m290x. I have an external monitor attached that does support HDCP. sound is through SPDIF to my DAC.

Don't need surround sound, or 3D support. My mac seems to use the wrong motherboard/CPU for 4K. Pity, but I don't have 4K disks anyway.

First of all you need a Blu-Ray drive. Find an electronic store (Or Amazon if available in your country) and get an external Blu-Ray drive for a PC. I havn't heard of any of these drives not working with the Mac.

Then you need a Blu-Ray player. I am not sure if VLC can do it. But as a free option you could try.
Otherwise MacGo Blu-Ray player should do the trick: https://www.macblurayplayer.com/macgo-mac-bluray-player.htm#overview

I have been able to play blu-ray videos on a 13" MacBook Pro from 2010 with this software back when it was released.

I purchased the MacGo Blu-ray software player for my 2015 iMac and it works great. As mentioned above you also need an external Blu-ray drive (I have a Sony).

Is there any threat of the MacGo player being shut down by unfriendly parties? How's menu support?
