Bluray Writer

Looking at a compatible bluray writer for my 2008 macpro.

obviously the last one is compatible, but I was curious about the first 2, I would most likely have trouble with the trays?

All of them should be fine, but I'd stick with LG cause well, thats who everyone generally goes with (I did).

No issues with the tray, just remove the tray door thing as per normal - all optical drives let you remove the plastic door.

Not all!
Mine certainly was solid plastic in one piece together with the tray (Optiarc BD RW BD-5300S). Had to cut off some plastic too get it to fit. Not a major problem though.
