There are 3 of them so far and they just seemed to appear. You can only see them on a light background. They are definitely spots that are within the LCD as I've tried to wipe them spots off with a lent free soft cloth. Not really that big of a deal but I must say that I'm a little disappointed since I just got the machine. Thoughts/suggestions?

I clean my screen with a lint free cloth and a distant spray of glasses cleaner.. found most stuff was just finger fat, etc.. though I do have a couple greyed pixels only viewable from certain angles that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with anyway... most people really dont see them but hey, eye for detail ha?.. I'm not gonna bother too much just going to wait for new mbps and sell this and bump up the line :) though if your prop is a prob.. see the doc.

It would make it a bit clearer where the marks are if you had your mouse partially over them. My guess is that they're behind the LCD screen, which doesn't count as dead pixels (the only excuse for them not replacing). I've had that with a couple of machines - Macs and Dells. You should be able to get it replaced. Personally, I would demand a replacement if you've just got it.
