Blurry text and no HiDPI on 27” 1440p, but 4K

Lenovo Legion Y27q-20

Connected via DP USB-C adapter. First port on MBA gives the monitor 10 bits Ycbcr444 and second gives 8 bits RGB444.

Text is blurry on all resolutions both ports. Attaching pic on text in 1440p rgb. Cant choose any HiDPI. Yet it gives me the resolution option to send 4K to the monitor?

The two ports on the MBA should have the same modes. What do you mean first port and second port exactly?

Also the zoomed in image of text doesn’t say anything. Can you port the full screen? and the settings options you get?

Its 2560x1440 165Hz.

well theres two USB-c ports on the mba. One of them gives rgb and the other does not. Initially I hade the monitor hooked up via hdmi, i suspect the port i used then some how got stucked in ycbcr-mode.

i used a zoomed in photo to illustrate the blurry pixels on the text. I think it illustrates the problem well. Images are fine. Text seems to have pixels that should not be there.

I get the following resolution option (tried with option-klick and switchresx):

3840x2160
2560x1440
2048x1152
1920x1080
1680x1050... and down lower.
1280x720 aint showing HiDPI as it should on a 1440 screen. I get no HiDPI options.

I can run it in 1440 165Hz but, as stated blurry text.
